Dorsey played fairly well in his rookie campaign. Certainly there's lots of room for growth, but he did some good things. That's a hard position to transition into the league from. Plus... I don't know that he was put in the best position to succeed anyway. |

I'm okay keeping Gailey. The guys QB's last year were a guy that couldn't take a hit, a guy that could kinda take a hit but couldn't throw and Spread Eagle Tyler "The Skeleton ****er" Thigpen. Gailey took a guy that played at Coastal Carolina and made him not look like a guy from Coastal Carolina some of the time.
He also had to contend with a malcontent of a running back and Herm Edwards conservative philosophy. Somehow, despite all that, the Chiefs didn't finish last in the league in offense and were actually middle of the pack in some categories. Now let me qualify this. The Chiefs lost 14 games last year. 14. So if they had fired Gailey, I would have understood. |
