Clark is doing everything possible to build a winning franchise. Considering all the money he's paying these players, it seems to me that the least they can do is shut their burrito holes and focus on learning the system and making plays when their number is called. Even if TG is traded, he only has short odds that he'll go to a franchise that will find their way to the Super Bowl. That's why they play the games.

If you really have a legit shot at the SB, you have to pull out all the stops. But if my team gave up a high draft pick for an old player whose level of play could realistically fall off a cliff tomorrow (don't think it will with Gonzo, just saying) I would be beyond pissed.

And we're not talking an old QB or dominant pass rusher; we're talking about a TE. Aside from KC fans, saying 1st rounder for a 30 something guy who plays an ancillary position will cause people to look twice.
