Dorsey is the same size as Raji but would have to bulk up to play NT. I think he could do in a pinch. I'd want to see about trade possibilities for him if we draft Raji.

I firmly believe the coaches think Dorsey can play NT.

If it comes down to this, the pick is gonna be Crabtree.

No, of course not. Sanchez is the only QB worth having. Sanchez would wipe his ass with Manning's beard, if Manning could grow a beard.

I wonder if five years from now everyone will really remember where they were on the side of this argument. Other than Mecca, I haven't really paid much attention to who is convinced that Sanchez will be great.

I guess I am going to have to start taking notes on who says what.

OK.

Write it down.

Sanchez is going to be an elite QB in the NFL.

If that's true, I would agree.

I have said for a couple of weeks, Raji.

I also said I would LOVE to have Crabtree, but oh, the poor defense.

This guy really seems to have his thumb on it. WOW. Very good article IMO.

Every Chiefs fan needs to read this before the draft today.

We still need a QB!

Thigpen is a ****ing joke, we need someone to develop for the QBoTF.

So, what happens if Sanchez goes #2 overall??? If they hadn't made the Cassel trade, they would be in the same spot only without any viable QB option at all. I'm not sold at all on Cassel, but he at least has a shot to be a good QB in this league.

Sure I would love to have Sanchez, but I don't think Pioli was willing to take the risk of the 2 QB's going 1,2.

This draft isn't a good defensive draft. I doubt (and I hope) Pioli doesn't have tunnel vision. We don't NEED to fix the defense right now. This is a long-term rebuild and next year's draft is much more conducive to fixing the defense.

And Klingler and Shuler both played in run and shoot offenses in college. There's not a comparison there.

Did Tennessee use the Run and Shoot?
I honestly don't remember.

yeah, I don't recall tennessee using the run/shoot back then. then again, I was 12 years old when he was drafted (1995). I barely remember shuler.

Take this Dick-tation, Nonsensical:

Mark Sanchez WILL be a great, Pro Bowl Quarterback in the National Football League, and will walk on water long before the 1st Messiah Cassel.

Were the lengths of the contracts the same? That may have played a part.

I remembering him holding for the money he 'would have' gotten. I thought he got it.

Don't forget that the Pats typically get their picks into camp on time. Doing something like that would likely cause a holdout.

All their contracts were for 5 years.

There is precedent in this.

It would be surprising, and unorthodox, but I wouldn't be 100% surprised if the Chiefs let the clock run out on them.
