anyone consider that this might be a hole he made, and now he's trying to make a "paper trail" because someone found out?

i only say that because CP is clearly the top choice to prove your innocence by leaving a paper trail.

If you really suspect there's something in the wall, tear out the patched area and check. If there's nothing there, just fix it and nobody will ever know. If there is something there, call the cops and get the freak arrested. While I think you've probably just got an overactive imagination, if your landlord is doing this to you, he's probably doing it to other people in your building as well.

So you didnt bust open the wall where the patch is? Explain your stupidity.

To Clear up the confusion.

1. I don't smoke weed anymore, and I wasn't drunk.
2. The patch extended on both sides of a stud, I chose the wrong side. Shoulda used a measuring tape.
3. I live in a house, not an apartment
4. I realized how stupid this was and now I have to go out of pocket to fix my wall.

That's what they'd expect him to do. A smart peeper would set up a decoy like a pinhole and patched area so that buck would tear it open, laugh at his paranoia, and then go about his business. Meanwhile, the real camera in the shower head or behind the tile or in the smoke detector continues to silently operate.

No sirree, the trick here is not to open the wall near the decoy. The trick is to open the wall in other places, the least likely places, and keep doing it till you find the camera.

Of course I rent. Why would I have a landlord if I owned the house?

Okay. Show your Landlord your package one time; his reaction should give you a clue to his intentions.
