Nothing wrong with that playcall. How come Norv is lauded for the run call down on the goal line last week but he's a goat this week? The reason for the call is Baltimore was still in a passing D. SD had an unbalanced line with 2 tackles to that side and ran a power pulling Dielman giving them 4 bigs at the point. Dielman missed Lewis, but had Sproles got the ball he probably goes for 5 yds minimum and may have scored.

Note Haley is getting piled on by pundits saying he shoulda run the ball on 3rd and 1 in the 4th quarter instead of throwing it and taking a sack.

As a coach, when you lose the game in the final minutes and you're a goat.

Last week the run was on a 2nd down at the 5 yard line.

This week the run was on 4th and 2 at the 15.

Thats why.

I would assume because the Ravens o-line pretty much owned him and the rest of the Chargers all day. They do have a good line, but Merriman looks sluggish and not as explosive. He did have one play where he timed his pass rush perfectly and I think caused Flacco to throw a pick.

yeah...well...I will always root for the bolts...but Norval Reddenbacher can go to hell. I used to give him the benefit of the doubt. Not anymore. His decision making is atrocious. He has his positives but his negatives balance that out.

I could care less about his HC track record as well. OAK and WAS have been coaching graveyards. All I know is he came here and is running this team into the ground. I think he came out today and said something along the lines of "people think we are better than we actually are."
