You do realize that Gochiefs thinks the idea of firing Haley at this point is ludicrous, right?

I'm another one that has no idea what Gochiefs thinks.

I can't wait to see what it's like around here after we finish running through the rest of the NFCE. Most people knew they would be 1-8 2-7 at best to start the year. But the morons that thought we'd be good this year...

Really? I may disagree with him at times... but he always seems to make his opinions pretty obvious.

Well hell, his daddy was a scout so that's a surefire winner.

And you're right. With the single most talented WR corps in football and one of the 5 most accurate passers in NFL history behind a stout O-line, he managed a 9-7 record in the worst division in football.

Damn, you got me.

This is some thin gruel you people are serving.

Absolutely, he's Epic Fail 3 games in.

I hear the Jets are taking applications.

Also, this is our official 2009 reerun filter.

His play calling was TOTAL shit but I do not think he should be fired at this point.. We have sooo many problems it's not even funny.

The only game anybody thought we would win to this point we lost after dominating it 90% of the game, yet epic meltdown over losing a game that everyone predicted we would get blown out in to begin with.

You gotta love the ****ing reeruned hypocrisy of this place. It should be called Hypocrite Planet.

Absolutely not, but that's not my point.

My point has been that I wouldn't have hired him and I was certainly not alone in this.

Now if you're someone that wouldn't have hired Haley to begin with, why would you currently be in favor of keeping him? "In for a penny, in for a pound"? I don't get that at all. This league changes so quickly that 2 seasons wasted is 2 seasons too many.

I'm simply saying that there's no point in dicking around here. And it's not like we hired a consensus winner here, there were easily as many people that thought Haley would fail as there were that thought he would succeed, both locally and nationally.

To this point, I've not seen anything that would assuage the concerns I had about Haley from the day he was hired. As such, I wouldn't keep him. I'm not attempting to change any of your minds, I'm simply saying I never thought this was a good hire and haven't seen anything to dissuade me from that opinion.

We should bring in Wayne Fontes.

Got it.

So expect to lose every game, including home games against arguably the most dysfunctional team in the NFL, and you'll never be disappointed with the team.

I have absolutely no idea how you can defend the way that game was coached. Make nebulous comments as to the 'talent level' of the respective teams all you want, but I have no clue how you can watch the way that game was run and come away defending Todd Haley.

Bowser 09-27-2009 04:04 PM

Or Rich Kotite.

no, but people expected to beat the mother****ing chokeland raiders at home, and people probably expected to throw a pass of more than 1 yard at some point in the game today. why the **** did they spend all this money on cassel if they are going to game plan like he's damon huard?

HemiEd 09-27-2009 04:05 PM

Stupid question.

BigMeatballDave 09-27-2009 04:05 PM

Kanye West says any black man off the street could coach better...

Bunit 09-27-2009 04:06 PM

No he shouldn't be fired. It is three games into the season. What coach could succeed with the team we have right now.
