Herm came from the AFC East, i'm not sure how much that has to do with it, what does Josh McDaniels know about it?

AFC coaches are much more familiar with the players and the rivalries of the AFC conference, just as the NFC coaches are more familiar with the NFC players and rivalries.

McDaniels was an AFC coach.

Hiring Mike Nolan was a very good offseason move. Thats now 3 good to very good 3-4 defenses he has had a hand in creating.

I'm pretty sure Bill Simmons predicted you guys to make it to the playoffs. Or at least go 10-6, something like that.

How can this be? Discuss....

The Bengals, Browns & Raiders.

Simple as that.

The truth is that we played two weak teams and one good team. We beat up on the weak teams and outplayed the good one. The truth is that we outplayed Cincy for almost the entire game. They got in rhythm on one drive and got a TD. People can whine and cry about that lucky play that gave us the TD in the end, but it was our D that kept the score low as our O struggled with stupid penalties and missed assignments.

I'd say we are on par with a team like Cincy right now. We're not great but we're not bottom feeders either. And the Offense is starting to click...

Yeah, those Bengals really suck.

The Bengals have a shot at the playoffs this year and thats saying something considering the division they play in

salame 09-28-2009 01:42 AM

I think player for player on almost any position the broncos have a better roster than the chiefs, that is why they are better
we have a better punter and qb...........I think that's it

I disagree ... I never saw one person related to any site pick Denver to win 6 games. And, on this board, when I said 3-0 was a reality... the idea was shot down. Nearly 100% of the comments had Denver losing to Cincy and Oak.

Denver doesn't have any draft picks after selling the farm to get orton

Because the season is only 3 games old.

Pittsburgh is 1-2. Tennessee is 0-3. Anyone think those teams suck horribly and will finish under .500?

It's a long season. They beat the Bengals by the whopping 12-7 score, and then slapped around two bad teams (Browns and Raiders). Denver's next five games are against the Cowboys, Patriots, Chargers, Ravens, and Steelers. Let's revisit the Broncos after that stretch and then we can discuss how "for real" they are.

Yeah the Titans had the best record in the regular season last year and look at them.

The Titans are the 90's Chiefs the every other year curse is back.
