LOL, no shit. Haley gives a logical answer to a question people have wanted to know about his play calling and people still find something to bitch about.

Gotta love CP.

Do people really have a problem with Cassel throwing TDs from the 2 yard line? He made two nice throws. One was very nice as he escaped pressure. Of all the things to complain about, how KC scores TDs is not one of them.

It must be a mental thing with DJ. Doesn't maintain his responsibilities, doesn't use the right technique in dropping back into pass coverage, freelances too much, something. I just don't buy the idea that Haley just doesn't like him for no reason, or that he's making an example of him at the cost of wins.

Hey, to be fair that's how I feel these days after wasting an afternoon watching a Chiefs game instead of doing important stuff, like figuring out how to save the princess from Bowser...

The fact you find this statement weird, wrong, or whatever tells alot about you.

There is simply nothing wrong with that statement.

There is a reason DJ dropped in the draft.

From Bowser? Are you kidding? Have you seen what Mario's doing to her in Flopnuts' avatar? Getting kidnapped by Bowser would be a vacation to compared to being trapped in that day-in, day-out humpfest.

I don't give a **** how we score. People bitch we don't score enough then have the nads to bitch about how we score when we do score.

I have no doubt that Haley has very valid reasons for not liking DJ. DJ absolutely has serious flaws in his game and can be a liability. But at the same time, he also has loads of talent and can be the most athletic guy on the field. I guess I just expected Haley and Pendergast to find a way to utilize DJ's talent without putting him in a position to hurt the team. It appears they would just prefer that he doesn't play.

No NO NO that can't be it. Fatlock and LJ said it was his ego trying make his 60 mil man look good.

Haley doesn't know what he's talikng about.

Sounds like a really good reason to throw it.

It's not the "honest answer" I'm bitching about, it's that he wants to be a "running team" but doesn't believe in their ability to run enough to get two ****ing yards. I like Haley's fire and his no bullshit attitude. I just don't like his decision making skills so far. We'll see.

BossChief 10-05-2009 03:35 PM

DJ cant take on and shed blockers, he is decent in coverage and is very fast, but to play on first and second down as a inside backer in a 3-4 defense, you have to be able to get off blocks and make plays against the run.

If we had Ngata at nose tackle, he might be an effective starter, with Tank Tyler as the nose, he is a target.

He needs to get healthy and show he is gonna work hard enough to earn not only earn a starting job, but that his work ethic shows he is worth investing a new contract and a few more years on the field in red, otherwise we are best off spending that developmental playing time on a player that deserves it and gives us consistancy.

ToxSocks 10-05-2009 03:36 PM

I agree that Haley doesn't appear to be the coach that i thought he was. He seems lost in his play calling. No consistancy at all. He has no faith in his O-Line. Neither does Cassel.

But, with his background, i was hopping he would FIND a way to move the ball.

He needs to call Chan and apologize.

Would losses suck less in Haley's book if he were single, and had no family?

The guy has been a coach in this league for years. He knew the job consisted of 18 hour days, sleeping in the office, etc - and that was before he decided to shit-can the OC and take on 2 additional jobs.

He misses his family.

I miss watching good football.
