It's opening night tomorrow. The Jazz have their first game then. That's when the real season starts.

They win the vast majority of their home games, so the crowd is pumped and the stadium is full. They are continually in the playoffs, have, as recently as two seasons ago, been in the Conference Finals and have a nice young nucleus and good depth. I can name about 26 other teams that would love to be in their shoes.

You want to feel bad for a team, then saddle up to the Warriors, Clippers and the like. Jazz fans are pretty happy with where the team is at right now.

Yeah but those teams don't have any hope. The worst thing is having hope, and then having it all crushed to pieces. I am a KU fan and obviously a Chiefs fan, I experienced that in the 90's. It sucked.

The Jazz probably do have the best home court advantage and college crowd though, you have to give it to them for that.
