Was fun listening to my wife argue with the television set while these two were on. Firing Haley is something Daniel Snyder would do right now. I don't believe that Pioli is even considering it as an option. Haley gets another two years minimum as long as the win total doesn't take a step back. I do think, however, that Pioli will be putting some pressure on Haley as to the composition of his assistant coaching staff.

I think their might be some smoke to the fire that BRC has said. I have heard from one of my sources that Cowher could be on the way as well. I wouldn't be totally shocked if it did happen, Cowher would put butts in the seats and if we are hell bent on the 3-4, he is a good coach of that. I don't see us winning a Super Bowl with him, but we won't anyways with Cassel as our QB so we might as well be 10-6 and get beat in the 1st round.

This. I'd be very very surprised if Haley gets the axe after the year, despite what everyone on here seems to think about him being an awful coach.

I don't have any inside info (well, about as much as Athan does :)), but I'm willing to bet there's a lot of new faces around Arrowhead come August. Pioli knows that Haley needs a new DC and an OC as well as a whole lot of talent. He knows that the fans need this team to improve and I believe he'll do everything he can to make this a competative team next year.

If nothing else, I expect an interesting offseason.
