I'm pretty much the same. The difference is that here I interact with people that I'd never otherwise come into any sort of contact with. It's not like I frequent places in real life where I'll run into idiots like Hog Farmer.

It takes a special personality type, or maybe subtype, to really successfully express yourself online - I think I'm just myself as I am in real life, but because you can't see my facial expression, hear the tones in my voice, and grasp my interpersonal presence then most of what I "say" online comes off as just bland or normal.

I think the biggest difference between RL and online is that in RL it is frowned upon to jerk off while talking to others, while online it's sort of expected.
