Awful is being kind.

IIRC, David Buehler, PK, USC did more reps than our 5-tech of the future.

Buehler did 25 reps dude! He beat Davis this year.

My god. I would hate to have Steven Jackson in the AFCW. (Tamba's reading this thread .....shitting his pants somwhere)

Bruce Campbell looked awesome running. He got 4.7-4.8 times at 314. Now Im not a LT @ 5 guy but wow I was impressed.

Usually the guy who has the most bench reps doesn't do much in the NFL. Good luck to Petrus though.

Anythony Davis is a downer, but when you have arms that long its not easy to just rep out 35 times.

So Okung at 38 is even more impressive then because he did 38 and his arms are even longer?

If Bruce Campbell is NOT on "performance enhancers", then a new species of human has evolved. Dude looks like Dwight Howard plus 40 pounds.

That said, this dude is on the horse. HGH, juice, something...I guarantee.

What's the word on this Texas Tech kid, Carter?

mylittlepony 02-27-2010 09:30 AM

My observations so far:

Campbell looks athletic but Im not sure about technique (im not good enough to tell).

Iupati looked pretty bad as did Davies.

Bulaga looked like he had good technique and looked focused.

Charlie Brown didnt stand out in anyway from guys who are much later picks.

Duccasse was breathing heavy pretty early.

Everyone is on something.

4.78 on that slow track is ****ing ridiculous, though. Ultimately, Davis has hurt himself, Campbell has done what he needed to do here, and Okung has given the True Fans priapism.

Brown looked fantastic in the mirror drills, FWIW. Watching Iupati in drills, I thought that he could play RT beforehand. He can't.

Terrance Cody dropped 16 pounds wow

Jesus Okung just ran a 5.19.

WildTurkey 02-27-2010 09:48 AM

We have found the raiders first pick this year. LSU WR Trindon Holliday just recorded one of fastest 40-yard dashes ever run in Indy, a blazing 4.22.

Brown looked fantastic huh? Well I'm not good enough to tell, so I'll take your word for it. But even at my level I saw Iupati struggeling badly.

When Brown was in pass pro drills, there was a fluidity and efficiency to his movement that no one else in his group had. He has really light feet, which is paramount for a LT.

In contrast, Iupatia had slow, heavy movements with his feet and it looked like he easily lost his balance.

I think Trent Williams just had an amazing 10 yard split.
