I don't see WSU getting in.

I'll have to assume you didn't watch the game today.

This game was pretty boring. I'd really like to see Mizzou get a chance to play one of these teams the opening round. The athletic abilities shown on the court today were very minimal. I was surprised because I've heard UNI is actually pretty good but neither of these teams looked any good. It was slow and sloppy. UNI is going to get run off the court when they play a BCS school in the tournament. Then again this is just from watching this game. Maybe it was an off game for both of the schools. I just can't imagine either of these teams actually looking very impressive in a fast paced game.

Next year in the Valley is going to be fun - Shox and Bears will be the best two teams. Man we are going to have some wars - on the court and off next year.

Me too, 13 seed?

13 to 15 seems doable. They have a nice RPI and they're what, 10-6 against top 50 in the RPI?

He's a very good coach but he didn't have much talent after Turg. left. He's had to rebuild from scratch. This team only has one Sr. and won 25 games this year including being undefeated at home.

They have a nice core of young players. Now they just need to add some depth to make that team deep in terms of talent.

UNI had the same players last year, played terribly in the NCAA tournament, and lost by 5 to a Purdue team that went fairly deep in the tourney. If they shoot well at all, UNI will have a shot.

Try 1-3 vs Top 50

RPI 43 SOS 117

NIT bound.

My bad. I meant 10-6 in the top 100, not 50.

Shox are screwed. I don't see them getting a big dance invite. Its bc we aren't in a BCS cartel conference.

Purdue runs a slow paced game too though. I just don't see them athletic enough to play with a team that runs the court a lot. They seemed slow and they lacked good ball movement IMO.

You don't understand how the Valley plays. The entire league is about slowing the game down, minimizing touches and playing lock down defense. Valley teams negate the athletic advantage and ugly the game up on purpose.

I agree. It would be great if they can get a true point guard (JC) and a big body (JC) for fouls, D and rebounding.

UNI will win one game. I guarantee it.
