You still kill "evil" people. :)

But the more I think about this, the more I come to the conclusion that a line HAS to be drawn somewhere, even though I'm 100% with Flopnuts about not censoring anything. But seriously, what if they come up with child porn games next? Someone brought a good point of the market hopefully making it a failed venture, but we all know there are sick people out there willing to pay whatever for such games...

/sigh

What gets me is that I wouldn't even be able to watch it.

Anyone see "The Last House On the Left" ??

Their rape scene went far and beyond any kind of artistic application. It went on and on and on. They went so far as to include the sounds of slapping balls on pussy. None of the women I know has ever been comfortable sitting through that scene. Most turned their heads.

Viva la Hollywood. Because it's depicted as negative, it's okay.

Original or the remake?

I think you brought up a very good point that if those games stop one person from taking such action in real life, and can satisfy themselves with a video game, then something has been accomplished.

It's disgusting, but sometimes reality is. I don't really give a shit as long as no one is actually getting hurt.

There have always been controversial (and poor) games on the internet. Their existence does not damn an entire industry any more than pornography damns the larger movie industry.

Heh...I thought it was obvious that the title was tongue-in-cheek, but perhaps not.

In response to your post, though, the difference here is that this is a legitimate, off-the-shelf product being sold in stores. It's not some kid in his basement who developed it.

Don't bother watching Irreversible with Monica Bellucci then.

Again, like Frazod posted, you’re typically blowing holes in mutants, space aliens, or bad guys in general that would kill you if given a chance.

Japanese people have no souls anyways, I doubt it offends them over there.
