My only complaint is the cheap material a lot of manufacturers have gone to, This includes the foreigners. Seems like even pure water will stain it. **** that. Not a big deal yet, but I'm about to have my first kid in about 2-3 weeks. This kids gonna jack up my ride!

Just got myself an '09 Malibu through an auction connection. Liking the ride thus far.

To be honest, I won't bitch either way it goes down. It's a free ride for me, along with free insurance and gas. There are not many companies out there, that are willing to step up and buy their employees a new 4x4 suv as a driver these days.

If I were presently looking for an American car I'd be giving Ford the first shot solely because of this.

My first car was a Dodge Dart. Bought it used from a guy with a limp. He said that the two things weren't related, though.

Had a push-button transmission thing. If you wanted to go forward, you pushed the "D" button. If you wanted to go backwards, you pushed the "R" button. And, if you wanted to stay where you were, you tried to start it.

Uh hi there doctor, do you know anything about the brand Jeep? They make something called the wrangler, also stamp something called "trail rated" on the side of a lot of their models. Might want to look into that...

A Wrangler is not an SUV.

Thanks reerun, virtually every single 4X4 they have ever made has been extremely capable offroad. The small woman SUVs of recent years excluded.

This is like saying, "surprising the porsche cayenne is fast"

from jeep.com

"From the original Willys MB to the 2011 Grand Cherokee, the Jeep® brand has been the leader in 4x4 innovation and off-road capability for over 69 years. The proof is in our exclusive Trail Rated standard.

We test Jeep® 4x4s on the toughest trails in the world to prove one thing: They can take whatever you dish out. The Trail Rated® badge means that your Jeep 4x4 has been designed to perform in five categories of off-road conditions: traction, ground clearance, maneuverability, articulation, and water fording."

Hello, moron. I didn't mention the Wrangler, so I don't really know what that has to do with anything.

Well, it's great that you found some really objective analysis about Jeep from Jeep.
