Powerful stuff. Reminds me of the opening scene in Dracula where a pure-hesrted true believer "falls" so hard that he becomes pure evil, managing to even overcome death itself. If I'm covering this guy next week, I'm having garlic for lunch.

He reminds me of Hines Ward.

He has no one outstanding attribute but he just.........DOES.

He's the consistent force for that team right now. Despite being about average in all areas he just makes plays...

Only against Pittsburgh does this shit happen.

It's not enough that they have the Zebras on their side, but God too? ****!

FishingRod 11-29-2010 12:29 PM

Perhaps God just wants him to STFD and STFU? Who wouldn't with someone bothering you 24/7 like he said he does. Sounds a little like being Baptized to death like they did on Boardwalk Empire.

Funny, I've never seen anyone say God made them catch a ball, or score a TD or anything else. I have seen people give God thanks for the gifts they have, what they do with those gifts is totally in their own hands.

You, on the other hand need to figure out what God is all about, and it's not a game.

What I find hilarious is that people like you call it a fairy tale because you have no faith. When the lights go out, what fear keeps you awake?

It's really interesting that non-believers find such joy trying to hang a trip on believers. If you don't believe what does it matter to you that someone else does? It's a non-sequitur. Obviously you can't live and let live.

God want us to win the world championship. /barkley

it's more sad that you think God is a fairy tale.

Would you rather it stay here?

The whole premise is a load of crap. Players that are believers do not thank God for letting them catch a ball or scoring a TD. The players thank God for being their savior, seems that's a concept that you and others just can't conceive.

Maybe some day you will find what others have. Until then try, just try, to live and let live.

Lighten up, Francis. You are a sanctimonious douche waffle and belong in the DC romper room with this holier than thou crapola.

You have no idea what my religious beliefs are, because if I WERE to debate religion, it would be in THE DC SECTION....where it belongs.

Be off with you. Don't make me taunt you again.

Go argue with these guys:

Who does he blame for his 1980s rap video haircut? The 89 Pistons called and said your haircut is tacky.

I have.

But their faith is none of my bid'ness.

"Why did the acorn fall on THAT squirrel right when we were there!?!?! OMG!?!!"

What happened, happened.

How you feel about it is up to you...
