At least the Chiefs fans know it's on the upswing. Solid GM, solid HC, solid OC and DC, defense is growing, running game is kick-ass, QB isn't shitting his pants... no matter what happens the rest of this year, Chiefs fans can go into the offseason knowing--whether they lose the next four to finish 8-8, or go on a run and win the Super Bowl--the Chiefs team that shows up for training will be better than this one. In that regard, maybe, Rams fans can whine a bit, because aside from QB there's nothing in St. Louis that indicates they'll be above the Mendoza Line any time soon.

This kid doesn't know how good he's had it, but I can understand his self pity at this point, though I would say that his team is looking up with (contrary to dumbass opinion) a good coach in place and a guy that looks like he might be the next great QB having a hell of a rookie season.

One of the reasons I keep coming back here is that, despite being a Chiefs board, this place is passionate about anything involving sports. You guys talk other NFL games and start threads for them, you talk baseball, NASCAR, whatever. If someone started an intelligently-framed thread discussing other NFL teams, or even specifying (e.g. "NFC also-rans: which team has the best future potential?"), I'm sure it would be a pages-long discussion. If someone starts a stupid ****ing thread, they get treated like a stupid ****. :shrug:

but Cassel updates have gone like this: 79, 78, 79, 80, 81, 83, 85, 87 over the course of the year...

Charles has gone: 88, 89, 90 (and he's stalled at 90 over the last 3 updates)...

How is CJ a 99 but Charles is only a 90?
