Actually you just derailed this thread from it's prior discussion into a thread about you. Now you could legitimately argue that this thread wasn't a particularly productive one. But you have derailed it.

I don't particularly care enough to dig too far, honestly. You don't do anything that's bannable, so it's not like I'm actually doing anything "mod"-y about it.

But more often than not, I notice your posts as being combative. You're not the only one, of course, but you have to admit that you do more than your fair share of arguing around here.

Absolutely. But that is completely different than 'derailing' a thread. Being combative yet on topic is not derailing anything. Even in this thread my joke was on topic, and hardly combative.

(The bookie joke was on topic.....not in any way meant to derail, only to get a laugh. And it isn't true that 'everyone' ignored it...I got a positive rep from someone who NEVER usually gives me pos.rep. for that joke...)
