You didn't read that. NFL Films / Sabols won the trophy with Lamar's name on it. Haley did not.

Its a national award. Michael Vick was named NFC Offensive Player, Brady AFC. Neither one of those guys play for KC (although I wouldnt mind if they did:p). Coaches in the past have been from other teams...did you read the article?

Thought he was a shoe-in as soon as San Diego lost the division. A 10-6 record would not have been enough without the West title I don't think. But they got it.

And I think he clearly deserves it. Next year will be the real telling season, though.
