I have to admit that the people in Denver do handle driving in snow better than in KC. Except, of course, for the recent immigrants from Texas and California.

flakes are starting to fall. Get to Walmart for bread and milk ASAP!

mnchiefsguy 01-19-2011 01:11 PM

No snow yet. I am surprised they are even having school today, since the snowing is coming! (They canceled school yesterday, despite the fact the roads were relatively clear for a Jan. day.)

Snow? That's what happens to water when it gets too cold.

This? This is GoChiefs. This is what happens to people when they get too sexually-frustrated.

These dipsh*t forecasters call for 6-9'' a few times every year and we end up with a dusting. Before I start freaking out, I'll wait to see if snowmageddon actually happens.

I see what you're saying, but didn't we just get quite a few inches last week? And last winter we got a bunch. Just sayin'.

They're only calling for 2-5 inches here, but you just never know. My RWD doesn't cooperate in one inch of snow. Went over and borrowed dad's SUV. There's just something about having 4WD that makes me feel invincible (but I don't drive like that).

Welp, it's pretty hard to argue with a radar. Just don't listen to Katie Horner, the rest of the weather experts are usually pretty close to reality. I think we're bound for 4" at the very least.

You silly midwesterners and your "heavy snow". :p

Damn! That 2nd car was moving pretty fast down that hill.

Our snow typically comes with sleet first. At least snow gives you some traction. However, they haven't called for any sleet or freezing rain down here, so I'm not worried.
