I'm really not sure of what the hand-wringing is about in some of the Cassel threads. Yes the O line is shaky, but with the receivers and RBs we have, even a rookie could succeed. Example: Run-4 yds, Dump pass-3 yds, Run-6 yds, Pass-10 yds. If you follow where I'm going, you don't need an MVP, just a guy who can keep from throwing INTs. This is how our offense is now built. We have the skill players to take the pressure off the QB and O line.

This strategy worked so well against Baltimore in that play-off game. You're a genius, man.

Are you really going to spend the next 8 months harping about something that is absolutely, positively NOT gonna happen?

Maybe this will help him get rid of the ball quicker and take less sacks too?

Don't fall into this thinking Tat. If anyone thinks that any QB on this roster is going to start over Cassel, they need to have their head examined.
People can talk shit all they want.
Cry, kick, and scream, but at the end of the day this is Cassel's team, like it or not.
If Gaither can shore up the RT spot, and Baldwin can play up to expectations, the same people bitching, and crying will be washing his bawls.

Playing Madden, watching the Dog Whisperer, and Fantasy Football have given these fans the knowledge of running an NFL franchise, evaluating talent, and looking into the mind of a QB. That TV game tape helps too ;)
