Latest Update Judge William Adams Responds To Videotaped Beating
11:34 AM

ROCKPORT - Aransas County Court at Law Judge William Adams has spoken to our Andy Liscano about a video the judge's daughter posted on Youtube showing a beating in 2004.

Judge Adams told us, "It happened years ago.. I apologized."
When asked if he thought the conduct in the video was excessive, Judge Adams said, "It's not as bad as it looks on tape."

Judge Adams also informed us he has already contacted the Judicial Review in Austin and "more will come out" during the investigation.
We'll keep you posted.

Hey, Judge Adams... Prison Rape... It's not as bad as it looks on tape. Hope you get to experience that.

What the ****? I got beat with a belt and that doesn't make it right. If I caught my neighbor doing that to their disabled kid I would **** them up beyond recognition. Who knows, that person evidently could be a CPer, but that wouldn't exclude them from the carnage

He says it is not as bad as it looks on tape? Give me a break! Listen to what he says to her! It's hate filled! He grabs her neck and pushes her down and tells her how terrible she is, and that might even be worse than the belt. He abused her body and spirit there. Not as bad as it looks...

Making your child feel like you hate him or her, that is what stays with the child. The sting of a belt goes away. Feeling like you are hated is a wound to the psyche and it leaves scars.

Man, I wish Al Gore had invented the internet 30 years ago. I could have downloaded some pristine videos. I can't believe all the outrage. This girl didn't even bleed.

He'll release some statement about finding Jesus since then.

I remember a time where I was forced to take piano lessons at age 7 yet I didn't want to take them. One day I was supposed to be practicing but I didn't want to. I got rapped across the hands and my back with the afore mentioned base board. I found one of my practice books not long ago and saw the marks on it from where the stain from the base board left marks on the book. It put me in tears having to relive that memory.

I'm nearly a foot taller than my mother today and she still has this "power" over me because of the psychological torment I received as a kid. I don't talk about the beatings much because I feel embarrassed over those years. I think this is the first time I've ever written anything about it.

I feel ya....There's shit my step dad did to me that I know I've blocked out. It wasn't so much the physical abuse but the mental shit that went with it. The sad thing about this video is my mother had the same problem when it came to joining in the fun and it wasn't until years after their divorce that I found he was physically and sexually abusing her too...

Brings back memories of some of the ass beatings I used to get. I probably deserved about 90 percent of them. LOL

But beating on a disabled girl like that is ****ed up.

yeah you ain't the only one! (repost - and my moms cat would frigging bite me for crying! no shit! stupid damn cat.) but I wasn't ever disciplined like that! not even close. that's just ridiculous. I can't imagine doing that to anyone let alone your own flesh and blood. can you imagine all the things he did that weren't caught on film!!! makes you think. wonder if she ever considered.....taking care of the problem while he slept? bet she did.

Yeah I got spanked all the time. Most kids deserve it.

This. Was criminal though, even more so with her condition.

Yeah, it's the psychological crap that still torments me today. My mother's emotions manifest themselves in some strange ways that I still restrain myself from being open around her.

My father was my safe haven though. I remember a couple of times him coming in during the beatings and trying to deflect her rage to himself. He say things like "the boys had enough", but this would enrage her further.

I still love her, she's my mother and has supported me when I needed her there. Yet, that pain of childhood under her thumb still eats away at me today.

OK. See guys, he's totally remorseful now. It's all cool..

chasedude 11-02-2011 12:00 PM

Anyway I feel for this girl. Whether she's disabled or not, no one needs to go through that kind of shit in life.

I have no contact with the old man...in fact the last time I ran into him was at my little brothers (his bio son) graduation. I called him the mean old man and he started crying...I was so close to punching him in the face...I sometimes regret not doing so... may he rot in hell...
