Think about that number for a minute....three playoff wins in 42 years. Two of them were the result of Joe Montana 4th quarter comebacks and the other one was a 10-6 snoozfest against the Raiders(led by a QB making his 2nd career start) which the Raiders would have won had they not turned it over 6 times.
The Panthers and Jags have only been around since '95 and they have more playoff wins than the Chiefs who had a 25 year head start. The Steelers have twice as many Super Bowl wins than the Chiefs have playoff wins.
The Hunt family wants to be known as league pioneers...notice Clark was visibly front and center during the CBA negotiations...then proceeds to have a shoestring budget payroll while gouging fans with $8 beers and $25 parking. Lamar(the sacred, untouchable cow of KC sports who nobody ever dared criticize) seemed happy to have the AFC champ's trophy named after him, but never really seemed interested in winning one. Christ...he hired his college roommate to run the team for nearly two decades.
Hunt Family: Winning owners expect results from employees. They don't accept mediocrity. And teams that do this win playoff games and, believe it or not, still manage to make a buck or two.
I wish they would move to L.A. or something so I could cut the emotional cord with this organization once and for all. I used to hope they would sell the team, but sadly I now believe that will never happen.
Hunt Family = perpetual mediocrity on the field. But hey...the bottom line looks good.

This is the best post I have seen in a while-great summation of how I have felt all along about the Hunt's while being a lifelong fan from the East Coast, outside the fishbowl of the Kansas City region.
There are (4) types of owners:
1. Those who want to win at any cost
2. Those who want to win but would like to make money
3. Those who want to make money and would like to win
4. Those who want to make money at all cost
The Hunt family is firmly rooted in #4
