If they believe Stanzi can be developed into what they want in a couple years. They have a nice plan B. Maybe they gamble a little bit more, than they normally might on a 1st round QB.

I do hope it's Orton as the vet presence instead of the QB who's name is becoming a four letter word

That's what I WANT to believe too. Makes me kinda wish there weren't such an attractive 1st rd QB class in this draft. But there is and passing up on it would be a mistake* if Stanzi does not develop. They sure are not acting like they are in a hurry to develop him. :(

(* Can anyone point out any potentially stud QB coming up for the 2013 draft, in case we do pass up on one this year?)

Put down the crack pipe. And run away because it is eating your brain. I have watched most of Malletts games that he played in Arkansas. He wilts and panics under pressure. Tyler Wilson the starter in Arkansas now is breaking some of Malletts records and numbers in his first season.

Beside people they need to worry more about draft a big offensive line more than a qb,no line nothing works,i say draft 5 300 plus pound lineman ,cut cassel.stick with orton,i know some will give me shit but who cares

Frankie, what I meant was. If the 1st rounder who should start rather quickly fails. By then Stanzi would be who they want him to be. Plan B

After Luck, there's nothing on the board better than Mallet. Last year was the year to get a QB. Just because we need one this year doesn't mean the guys out there are worth it.
