I don't know. Once a cheat always a cheat?

Seriously? You should spend less time in your dutch oven. It's warping your sense of reality.:p

OK, all this talk about Pioli being the reason Manning won't visit, and it's due to our bad reputation; again, is that what happened in Seattle as well? Or all these other teams that he's refusing to visit? After all, at least 12 teams contacted his agent once he became available, and he only visited 2, and is only talking to two others.

At the end of the day, dude just wants to go play for either Elway or for Whisenhunt, and Elway has more money and will bring in his buddies.

The biggest issue this or other organizations who would like to talk to Manning have is that we don't have one of Manning's buddies in charge. Oh well. Let's develop our own damn QB for once instead of going after someone else's leftovers...

Yet you're trying to make assumptions that the reason Manning not coming to KC is because Pioli was w/ NE those years they knocked Manning out of the playoffs time and time again. That's just silly as **** and you know it.

Seattle is nowhere near a SB contender like KC is w/ Manning at QB. Not even close. That team has problems everywhere.

If Manning is the competitor that we all think he is, and wants to win another SB before he retires, there's 2 teams that are above all else in terms of the best path to get there.

HOU - Indoors, lots of talent, weakass division, great young defense.
KC - Lots of talent, weakass division, great young defense, could offer more $$ than HOU

Sure it's just speculation, but we're all doing it. If Manning just hates all things Patriot. Thinks they were cheaters. I think that would affect his interest in going to a team GMd by the assistant GM of those days, and coached by the DC of those days.

What haven't you being paying attention? The media has exposed the Chiefs. That is the reason Manning isn't going to come to the Chiefs. per Chiefsplanet.

Seattle has won a playoff game recently. How about the Chiefs?

Clark has no understanding of the concept of reinvesting. ..And he's in a business where reinvestment is positively required to compete, he'd rather pocket it and wait for the next interview where he'll wear his only red tie, which is from 1989 or so. He'll die with a ton of money and still be the stale ol' fart he has always been.

I have hope (might be a fools hope) but hope that Cassel will not be the starter this year.
