Heh, guess what.

And a second this year. That's how that works

That wasn't my hypothetical, but it helps me understand your position. Does anyone think there will be an attractive enough prospect on the board that any other team will give up a 2012 2nd and a 2013 1st for the 11th pick? Can someone come up with a potential scenario where that might happen?

Let's ignore the player for a second, would anyone trade all the way down to the 24th pick in the 2nd round if Pittsburgh threw in their 2013 1st round pick?

Or the 21st pick in the 2nd round if Tennessee threw in their 2013 1st round pick?

Might be uncool to be so optimistic, but if we draft around 22+ next year, what will we need to trade in order to jump into the top 3 - 5 to get that franchise QB?

According to the Draft Value Chart: The rest of the 2013 draft plus the 2014 1st.

In 2009, the New York Jets traded up from 17 to 5: They gave up their 2009 1st (17 overall) and 2nd, and three players (defensive end Kenyon Coleman, quarterback Brett Ratliff and defensive back Abram Elam. Ratliff).

In 2011, the Atlanta Falcons traded up from 26 to 6: They gave up their 2011 1st (26 overall), 2nd, and 4th, and their 2012 1st, 2nd, and 4th.

If Richardson or Tannehill were to still be on the board, I could see it happening.

Dream scenario would be for the Rams to trade us their second this year and their first rounder from the Skins next year to grab Richardson.

Having another first rounder next season totally changes things in that scenario.

We shouldn't be thinking 3-5. That's going to be damn near impossible.

We should be hoping (and expecting... in my opinion) that this will be a deep QB class where you can jump into the top 10-15.
