I hope he's practicing his handoffs because after Daboll see's his decision making ability he will be calling a LOT of running plays!

Get your shit together.

He's learning the ****ing playbook and running practice drills by himself.

Who gives a shit how he does it?

Some people just hate Cassel so much they will find any excuse to drill him.

Actually he kind of looked different to me in that interview. I had to do a double take. I didn't recognize him right off for some reason. He seemed to have more confidence or something to me. He is who we have (again) I'm gonna start the year with a better attitude. Positive thoughts. If he can finally learn to look defenders off, learn how to sell the play action, not telegraph his throws, quicker throws. Most of all he has to be a good teacher (mentor) for the quarterback that we bring in. No matter how much we don't like it, he will be the one mentoring the new qb.

I guess I always felt just the opposite. To me, the intangibles are the ability to have a sense/feel for the game. Kind of to know what is going to happen before it happens. Cassel doesn't have that... nor do I think he ever will have that.

He does have a decent arm. And he is a nice guy. Just no feel for the game.

Hasn't he been prohibited by CBA rules from actually doing the drills with other players?

How can we get excited when the team's upside is a first round exit because of the QB play... ?

durtyrute 04-18-2012 02:02 PM

I really want to like the guy, but damn.... I just wish he didn't suck the penis.

This is what is beginning to make me not care so much about the team.

No.

New CBA rules prohibit coaches from taking part in any on-field instruction until April 30th, so Cassel is running the show with the team’s wide receivers over the next two weeks.

I am quoting this post to show that I am in complete agreement.

Cassel's problem is between the ears. No amount of coaching or experience will change it or magically turn the light on.

No more true statement has been written about Cassel.
