He's big and covers guys like a mother****er. Move him to free safety, let him back up Lewis for a year. Our little TE problem would pretty much be solved.

I'll take Osweiler and Taylor/Iloka.

I like Taylor/Iloka but don't you think they will be there in the 3rd Pestilence? I just think it would be to tough to pass up on the OL that are available.

Because we still have O'Connell on the roster. You also have to plan for the possibility that Moeaki goes down again.

I also really don't see them taking a TE but this is Pioli we are talking about, so they'll probably trade up and take Fleener. :rolleyes:

But there a couple of O-linemen that could be ideal for what we need. Starting Gaurd potential, and backup for both of the T positions. Be pretty hard to pass up if they are available. Lilja could be back up guard, and slide into the lineup if Glenn or Osemele have to move out to relace Winston or Albert.

Tackle and safety depth is a huge need in this draft.

True. Mike Adams or Cordy Glenn would be hard to pass up considering that there are no decent tackles behind the starters. I would rather gamble on the potential of Osweiler, though. With Weeden going in the first round, I think Osweiler has bumped up to the top of the 2nd and you have to take him here if you want him.

I think Upshaw will be gone by the time our pick gets there. I think the same with Konz, but not as certain. Fleener has to be a consideration. Brandon Taylor would add a lot of athleticism to the secondary.

I'm buying all the mocks I'm seeing that has Luck getting his best buddy in Fleener.

The problem with taking a TE is how or why would be carry 3 TEs on our roaster?

Same goes with the QB position. Why take a developmental QB when we already have two on the roster? What is the difference between Stanzi last year and Osweiler this year? Makes no sense, and make us make poor roster decisions.
