Boo hoo, I was a server/bartender in college and for a short time afterwards and even though it burnt me to get a bad tip, I still never felt right blaming a customer for not giving me extra money that they didn't have to give.

Besides, the attitude of most servers these days is that they deserve a high tip all the time, simply for doing their job. Nope, sorry charlie.

Tips are for doing a good job not just doing the bare minimum in my opinion and I was a server in high school and college for 7 years. I have never understood these servers that exepct a customer to just give them a tip if they do just enough to get by.

I could easily blow $138 on myself at a high end restaurant, and it wouldn't take much attention from the waiter(ess).

Denny's would be a challenge, and would require a lot of work with multiple orders per customer at the table.
