Agreed.

Not sure what we are going to hear from Smith tonight, but I'm going to tune in anyway.

Like I have said many times, I am pumped for this season. Glad the off season is coming to a close.

Alex Smith ran for over 1,000 yards and 15TDs in college...

Jeez take your tampoon out already- I think it is full. :deevee::deevee:

Andy Reid couldn't wait for the cookies to get done, so he ate the cookie cutter?

That's all I got.

ChiefsCountry 07-19-2013 11:39 AM

Hopefully Andy Reid has the Marty Schottenheimer playbook because MartyBall is how we will win with Alex Smith, not Andy Reid passing game ball.

Nothing says fail like Alex Smith in a Royals shirt.

Im not sure if serious, but Alex has very good mobility. His problem was, Mike Nolan, and Mike Singletary anchored his ass to the pocket and told him not to run. If Reid unleashes him, and lets him use his mobility like Aaron Rodgers uses his, Alex Smith will become that much more dangerous. Can he do it? I have no effing clue.

He isn't really injury prone the past two years. He got a concussion on a qb sneak dude. In 2011 he took over 40 sacks and was just fine. If he runs and slides, he wont get hit as often.

Its impossible for you to ever be a bigger douche. The guy is embracing the City, and you rip on him for that. kill yourself.

Its not? I guess that means that aaron Rodgers is also Injury prone. Because his first two seasons he ended up on the IR.

Sighs. I guess Peyton Manning is injury prone. He did miss the entire year before last.

Tom Brady is too. 5 years ago he missed the season with a torn acl. All worthless.

The point is, he is a lot tougher, and smarter than you give him credit for. But you know what. Im done with it. You keep flapping, and as the chiefs keep winning, ill keep shoving it down your worthless pie hole. Of course, until win number 8, then ill have to wait for a year....What a SWEET YEAR THAT WILL BE.

Hammock Parties 07-19-2013 12:57 PM

Alex Smith has missed a shit ton of games over the years due to injury.

I'm surprised you won't admit to that.

Im not sure what the problem with that is going to be. The truth is, its probably going to be more of a playaction pass offense. Focused on the run, because everyone is going to key on Charles. Im not sure what the problem with a ball control offense is. Especially with the Chiefs personnel. its not like they have the packers receivers. The receivers as a group, outside of Bowe, is mediocre and a bunch of unknowns at best.

He missed a year for a surgery. He missed a couple in 10 when he got crushed by the panthers. Yes, I know early in his career, he missed games due to being benched, and to being injured. The truth is, that under Jim Harbaugh he took plenty of hits and got up. Even the hit that he got the concussion on, wasn't even the hardest hit he took in that game. So, I don't know how we can say he is so injury prone if he has proven over the past two years that he can stay relatively healthy.

Shrugs. To each their own. It doesn't surprise me. You will find anything with Alex Smith to nit pick.
