They may love irony, but that doesn't get them to spend money. They would think they were being ironic by thinking they have money and not spending it on cake thereby identifying with the proletariat. Hey, I know, lets be ironic and starve Antionette to death....

They aren't that smart.

Then they won't get Antionette's Insult in the first place.

I see it and assume its likely a cake shop with a very clever name.

Then I'd think that the name is too clever for its own good. "Antoinettes" would be better if you're absolutely married to the concept, but it would be better to have a name that isn't a question in trivial pursuit, not to mention difficult for idiots to pronounce.

You could have a special cake named that way, but I agree the name may be too clever.

But it sounds ironic, and if they think they're smart they'll like the irony even if they don't know what the irony is about.

Also, a good name generates buzz, I might add. And it seems like this is doing it.

I'm envisioning a logo that is a cake, but it's a cake that looks like a woman in 18th-century royal regalia.

My God, what a pretentious, overly serious, liberal egomaniac you are...LMAO

I thought "Man Batter" was a funny name....

Antoinette's could work. To me, Antoinette's Insult sounds like the owner thought they were really clever. Doesn't have much ring to it, though. Not trying to insult anyone's wife or anything. Just an honest reaction.

My God, your lack of seriousness is disgusting, you unpretentious, self-deprecating liberal. LMAO

Now that I think about it, Antoinette's Retort actually kind of has a pastry in the name. How cool is that?
