anything that alters your chemical balance or changes your 'mood' can be addictive imo.

even something like long distance running, people just don't care if they are addicted to running.

You aren't taking the maximum allowable dose that skirts the line between life and death. Try harder.

Hey, thanks, Dr. one who sucks the penis, I guess I'll just shrug it off and go run a marathon now. :thumb:

It was being dosed out through an IV. I didn't have control over it. lol

Dilaudid though....holy ****.

I've never been able to take them...hurt my belly too bad.

The "get" a lot of people though and everyone here and that I've known say it's a tough habit to kick.

Question for you - does acetaminophen (Tylenol) work for you for minor pain?

I had it through iv for 1.5 months. after a few days I was hitting that button constantly.

when I got it out, it wasn't terrible, but I had spells where I'd sweat like a bitch. ****ed w/my ears and balance.

but hell...there wasn't anything else to do at the time.

Not really....no. Also percoset does nothing for me as well.

I had to have my appendix removed and when I went into the ER the night before....they gave me morphine. Didn't do anything for me. I went back the next day (after a **** up by the hospital) and they gave me Dilaudid as soon as they admitted me. That shit hit me in like 5 seconds. It was instantaneous high as a kite until I went back into the OR.

I was just curious. I haven't had morphine but other opiates haven't been effective. Tylenol also does nothing for me so I was wondering if it was somehow related (I know Tylenol isn't an opiate; I just mean that people that didn't do well with opiates also didn't do well with acetaminophen).

I remember getting Tylenol 3 prescribed for me years ago and I might as well have been taking sugar pills.

Dilaudid is a National Treasure. We should build a monument.

Piece of advice. Never get admitted to the hospital for surgery on Halloween and be given dilaudid. It ****s with you hardcore....
