Capistrano was a much bigger dude than I expected. I wasn't able to see much of him in the preseason games.

they showed a stat at one point where the jags yards per play was like 8 inches..

Didn't run a play in Chiefs territory until midway thru the 4th quarter.

I love what I see from this defense but I remain cautiously optimistic.

Of course, this was only the Jags but the fact that we thoroughly dominated them left me impressed and is a good start. That's what a good defense should do against a sh*t offense anyway.

I want to see how they respond against a really good offense like the Donks or somebody else for that matter. I want to see if Sutton is that tactician where he is capable of coordinating a good game plan and making adjustments on the fly during games when necessary against good offenses. We have the talent on D, but I want to see if we got a real got D coordinator/brain trust to run the show.

I'm a little concerned that the offense may not compliment the defense. The talent on D is ahead of the talent on O, but the thing is we need to sustain drives. I don't like seeing too many short drives on offense. That just tires out a defense. I hope they don't burnout by seasons end or I hope we have players with phenomenal endurance and good rotational players to give the starters a breather or two.

Yup. Most NFL fans are complete morons. Pitt sure thought they had a layup.
