I donno about that. Alot of synicism on here for a team that is tied at an NFL BEST 9-1 :shake: I get concern but lets see it for what it is.
Maybe there is some reason for optimism. Seems to me we got some depth. Maybe Stephenson can step up and provide a spark at RT, who is to say he won't be an upgrade on Fisher? Stephenson is an athletic 6'7" 310 lbs with a good college career and some good NFL starts. Hes also a good story as he was born in Kansas City. This is a great opportunity for him and might actually be a good thing for us. Maybe sure up that side a bit. :thumb:
Also Bailey looks pretty damn good against the run and Love is a 315 lbs BEAST who started all 16 games on an undefeated team (Pats) and add Catapano for pass rush. Not so bad.
The more I look into Catapano the more intrigued i become. I Just saw this tweet from Chuck Smith (watch videos attached of former All Pro and famous pass rushing coach) and the man, who trained Cat for a bit, has some high praise for him. Smith coached Osi Umenyiora when he set the Giant's franchise single game sack record of 6 sacks in a game. Smith says Cat is the most polished pass rusher in the 2013 draft. Thats high praise considering the source. So instead of skepticism maybe there is reason to be excited still sitting at 9-1 with quality depth. Lets hope so, BIG couple games coming up! 10-1 going into the rematch.
