Nothing.

Yes. If the player is advised not to return and he does anyway, he forfeits pay if he can't play later due to the injury.

I disagree with you on a lot of stuff, but I don't recall ever seeing you in this mode--channeling some of the most ridiculous and least intelligent posters on CP. Hope you feel better soon.

"Security, remove Mr. Donger from the building."

and take the oil he has stashed in his desk.

I realize that you are prone to believing that people can't make decisions for themselves, yes. Nice to see it ooze into sports, too.

Like if they decide his skull is too mushy for football? Well, if they release him after a concussion or other injury, they are going to be paying his full salary for the year. If you're even on the roster after a certain date, you're entitled to your full-year salary.

Oh, I support their ability to choose to play sports. I don't think anyone should really stop them from going down to the park to join a pickup game or do whatever else they want. But I don't give him the right to decide to go back into a football game for which he is being paid to do what the team tells him to do. If the team wants to sit him and not risk further injury to their player--I don't even see how you can argue with that.

What do you think of boxing referees who stop the fight when the guy is having is head beaten in and his eyes are rolling around? Ask the fighter if he wants to continue?

Ooze is a good word. It's what the player's blood is doing inside his damaged brain, which might just compromise his ability to decide.

Thanks. I used it intentionally.

I can guarantee you that all of these old school head coaches would let them go back it.

I already gave you my argument.

The NFL and the players association know a lot of the right things to do, yet don't do it, and it's killing the game. I want to see the best players on the field all the time, and it takes the fun out of the game when you have to repeatedly account for injuries.

He's predicting who might get a head injury?

You didn't know the NFL let's certain info get leaked through their medias to prepare their viewers?

So...the NFL has planned that some "big names" will be injured and removed from games this weekend and they leaked that to prepare viewers?

O-K...because leaking the info prior to it happening would be a good way to cover up that they have rigged the games by planning fake injuries....:tinfoil:

I'd like to see Manning get his "bell rung" this weekend.
