As for the arm length, he's got the exact same at 31 1/4 as Sharrif Floyd.

Guys who used to be 3rd down only players are quickly becoming 2 down players, whereas your 2 down, run-stuffing players are getting much more reduced roles (see Mike DeVito, Tyson Jackson, Akeem Jordan, Jovan Belcher).

Yes, and if you need him to be fit into a sub package then the idea is flawed especially, if they can exploit a size difference during a play flip/change in an audible. You are looking at boys like Tuitt who's an all-round terror for a 3-4 DL. I'd love Donald if we were in an 4-3 base though.

Aaron Colvin, CB from OU, might be an interesting guy there. Hearing he's having a good week.

@nfldraftscout Early word on Aaron Colvin is a feared ACL tear.

****, he would have been a good later round pick.

You can still draft him on the 3rd day and basically redshirt him his rookie year.

O.city 01-21-2014 06:09 PM

Yeah, I wouldn't be upset with that.

I'd also like us to take Donald if he's there in the 3rd. He's gonna be a Geno Atkins type player.

That's why I like Tuitt. He can play DE in our base 3-4....and you can kick him inside in sub packages.

Tuitt does not have the same kind of pass rush ability or explosion off of the snap.

Watch their game tapes, you may just see the same thing as everyone else sees.

Really dipshit? I've seen EVERY game he's played at ND.

The Franchise 01-21-2014 06:51 PM

And FYI....I never compared Donald to Tuitt.

And I did, and Tuitt does not have close to the same pass rush/disruptive ability that Donald has. The only thing he does better is that he is more consistent at holding the point of attack and that's due to his length and overall size. That being said, Donald tends to disrupt a lot of run plays by simply ripping through his blocker(s) and getting into the backfield. He is the one guy that teams consistently double team along the Pitt line and he still changes plays with his disruptiveness. From what I've seen, Donald also has a better motor.

SJB will be a ****ing beast and I'm not just saying that because he's a husker. Hes Marcus Cooper with 2 more years of experience playing CB.

Penn has good feet movement, but he needs to use his hands quicker.

Also, trying to explain why a guy that weighs 30 pounds less can move better is an obvious duh. Basically, Tuitt needs to drop the extra weight he gained.

Or the fact that they don't play the same position......or are even in the same defensive front.
