Sorry to hear this news bud. Grandpa had a stroke that took his cognitive thinking. He had problems with that and memory loss. He spent his remaining years living with family until passing in his late 80s. He was my hero. While it pained me greatly that it changed and weakened him I cherished the remaining years he was with us even though he could not do the things he did before.
Reading your post reminded me of him. Not that their stroke and symptoms were/are similar or anything like that. It just hits me hard because like I said he was my hero and best friend. Basically the only father I ever knew even though he was my grandpa.
I pray for the best outcome possible for him. I pray for his doctors that they find the best way to fight and treat all of his pain. I pray for you and the family that you remain strong through all of this and I also pray that you continue to ask your friends here for such support when ever the need arises. Lord knows I haven't always prayed in times of need or asked for others to do so for my family. But I have become better and learned it does help. I'm no longer afraid, embarrassed, stubborn, whichever the case was I no longer worry or think twice about it. Personal growth I suppose. I'm a very private person.
Not comparing ourselves, you and I. I just want you to know I think in some way I can relate to times like this. God bless all those involved my friend :thumb:
