Which of the two actually performed at a high level in the playoff game? Smith.

The real answer is to extend both asap.

I like where ugly our heads at!

The "beast" is part of the same unit that allowed Indy to put up 45 on deep bomb after deep bomb. Deep passes don't happen that consistently and that often if you have a competent pass rush, regardless of how poor the secondary is.

The "JAG" put up 44 without any marquee players to help him out (unless you consider Bowe one, he truly was average at best last year) because Charles went down within a couple of plays.

Once Clark balks at what should be his market value then it should be very obvious what the Chiefs' main priority is.

Spoiler alert: it's not winning championships.

way to cheer for your team

I dont know about your endorsement theory but Houston is underpaid because he fell to the 3rd round because he failed a drug test right before the draft. Houston has nobody to blame but himself for losing out on $$$$, no matter how good he is.

Houston. Top tier pass rushers are hard to come by and he is younger. We will have more years of service from him than AS.

It's why KC refuses to draft franchise QBs.

Media exposure for a player of that caliber is negatively harmed by being in the Midwest, so the club has to make up the difference with signing bonuses and larger share of cap money.

Chief Roundup 07-08-2014 05:29 PM

I would think Houston because of where he ranks at his position versus where Alex Smith ranks at his position. But lets see what the contract demands are before we we jump on who gets signed or doesn't get signed.

Brady Quinn once put up 40+ points with the Browns.

And he wasn't even aided by defensive scores.
