So in the last 10 drafts we have about 13 guys out of a total of 54 QBs drafted in the first 3 rounds who have stuck around or look like they will be able to stick around as starters.

It's no wonder a third of the league is QB-poor, because history tells us there is usually about 1 guy in each draft who will make it. Injuries or just not being good enough will claim the rest.

It's a sucker bet, but unless you convert one you can't realistically expect to win anything.

Rhode Island was another name for Aquidneck island.

we probably should have traded back and drafted Bridgewater.

and traded Alex Smith,Jamaal Charles,Dewayne Bowe,Tamba Hali and any other veteran we could get a draft pick for

If you are going to rebuild ...

then ****ing rebuild

Nonsense, you're talking about the extreme ends of the spectrum. Manning & Brady aren't typical QBs, they're HOFers. We're talking Blake Bortles here.

Besides, even Matt Cassel won 11 games for 2008 Patriots did he not?

If Clowney ends up with 180 sacks he still wouldn't be as valuable to a team as Phil Rivers, even if he's a much better football player. That's just the way the game is played.

Don't mean to be a stick in the mud, but aren't World Series games in October?

Deberg_1990 10-09-2014 09:43 PM

Yes

TLO 10-09-2014 09:46 PM

You bastard.

OldSchool 10-09-2014 09:51 PM

No, Bortles would just lose games for them. He has thrown 2 INTs in every game that he has played so far.

They should tank for Mariota though.

cmh6476 10-09-2014 09:51 PM

I'd rather draft Bortles than read another DeBerg thread

Is this post serious? It seems like it is, but I can't believe anybody is that stupid.

So Bortles doesn't have 6 INTs in 3 games?:)
