Harris is a better RT than fisher was and that in itself is depressing

Both are awful, but yeah McGlynn is worse.

I watch a bunch of chiefs football, probably more than some of you on a long time line. This year's team is better than last year. You can tell the defense is better, the run game is better against better competition at this point compared to last.

Your number one obstacle is the conservative nature of Alex Smith. He needs to take more chances to be great enough to win a playoff game.

Go Royals and have a great night

Possibly but I think Reid sticking his head up his ass with the play calling and decision making is a bigger issue.

Most recently, that awful one in SF. There is just no excuse for that.

Just too many bad drops. I've defended him a ton, up to this season. Can't do it anymore.

The thing with Bowe is that he's always had terrible drops, its just that in the past he's had more opportunities to make up for them, ie; being targeted much more often.

He's a lot like Brandon Lloyd in that respect, always dropping the gimme and then turns around and pulls a highwire act... like I said a few days ago, his recent lack of production can be laid at Bowe, Smith AND Reids feet, IMHO.

Check yourself.

In the big picture, yes.

But theres no denying that just about every time he's touched the ball this year, something good happens... the early returns are BOFFO.

And I'm fine with this. What bugs the shit out of me is where Smith and Reid are absolved of the problem and it's all Bowe's issue.

I'm one of those people that really believe its the ultimate team game, you cant blame one without blaming the other.

Bowe is often an inconsistent numbnut.
Smith really needs to start pushing himself/trusting Bowe more.
Reid doesnt put him front and center in the game plan because he isnt Reids guy.

The ****ing guy should have 3-4 touchdowns by now and its everyones fault.

Odd considering Reid and Dorsey signed him to his big ass contract.

Really? It's not really odd considering they gave Charles a new contract and he gets 7 touches a game in some games.

He was just about the only option, and I'm sure he came off like the basically good guy I believe him to be during negotiations... I called him a "coach pleaser" back in the offseason and I believe it fits.

Every time a new coach has come in, Bowe (atleast on the surface) has bought in... coach says lose weight, he loses weight, coach says more offseason training, he does more offseason training , coach says we want you to block better, he ups his blocking game etc.

He WANTS to stay in Kansas City it seems, he WANTS to be great it seems, I'm just not sure he always knows how to go about being it... either way, if we can keep him on as #2 next year I'm ALL for it.

He would be the best #2 in the NFL, IMO.

Is that because he isn't "Dorsey's guy"?

LMAO

Regardless it doesn't point to Bowe not getting the ball because Dorsey doesn't like him.

TLO 10-24-2014 03:16 PM

This years team is better.

ToxSocks 10-24-2014 03:19 PM

Jeff Allen. Holy shit i forgot about that guy. What was his injury again?

**NVM, Elbow surgery**

CaliforniaChief 10-24-2014 03:26 PM

This team's tougher, IMO. Tougher early schedule, overcoming key injuries, getting used to and comfortable with new system.

We'll get better this year.

I'll be surprised if we aren't in the playoffs again. And I actually like our chances this year, either at Baltimore, Cincinnati, New England, or Buffalo.
