Hell, if it were me, I'd see if I can sign Ryan Mallet for a reasonable deal and see what happens. Too bad he got hurt, but he can sling it.

Denver hasn't defeated KC simply because Alex Smith is the QB... KC is one dimensional and when they fail to focus on that one dimension, like last night - well, you get what you got.

In two of the last 4 contests, kc drove the ball to the red zone then whiffed on the final score. Ultimately, we were a QB throw away from tying.

It's what frustrates me most about Alex Smith. It's not that he isn't any good. He has some big moments. For some reason he has big moments then flops when that final nail needs to be hammered into the coffin.

Which is what KC is..

By that logic, why bother trying to field a team at all?

As soon as we get a good player....err..."Luxury", sorry, then we should trade him away.

I don't think anyone is saying that, if KC can be upgraded in a year.. it's not impossible by any means. Just depends on what exactly and how much they have the stomach for upgrading immediately

I'll worry about that when Charles actually starts showing signs of decline, which he hasn't....and since i can't read the future, im not going to worry about when those wheels fall off.

Trading Charles does not make the team better. The goal, every year, is to field the best team possible.

Trading Charles is about as stupid of an idea as cutting Berry for Ron ****ing Parker.

It's more idiotic CP GM talk.

You don't win by getting rid of your best players.....

Keep thinking Jamaal is only 24 years old.

Doesn't matter. Doesn't explain how he has no problem throwing to receivers during the comeback then somehow falls short on the final drive or play.

“Keep our heads down and just know it takes one game to get back into it,” Bowe said. “We got to start by that one game. I think we’re going to get back to the basics next week and just start off with Chiefs’ style football, pounding and grinding and open it up with the play-action.”

It gets more difficult in the redzone if you have mediocre talent to play catch with... when the field is more wide open, sure anything can happen. There's a whole lotta "who's that" out there.

81 Jason Avant WR 31 6-0 210 9 Michigan
17 Donnie Avery WR 30 5-11 200 7 Houston
82 Dwayne Bowe WR 30 6-2 221 8 LSU
85 Frankie Hammond WR 24 6-1 184 1 Florida
88 Junior Hemingway WR 25 6-1 225 2 Michigan
15 A.J. Jenkins WR 25 6-0 200 3 Illinois
12 Albert Wilson WR 22 5-9 200 R Georgia State
80 Anthony Fasano TE 30 6-4 255 9 Notre Dame
84 Demetrius Harris TE 23 6-7 230 1 Wis.-Milwaukee
87 Travis Kelce TE 25 6-5 260 2 Cincinnati
89 Phillip Supernaw TE 24 6-5 248 1 Ouachita Baptist

OL is young but needs alot better guards and we obviously we need recievers badly. The fact that Hemmingway and Hammnond are even on the rosters is disgusting.

Basicly the entire offense except for RB and Alex is going no where.

the WCO should also be thrown out into the dumpster as well.
