We go through the super-excited rendition of "Happy Birthday" once a month around here. I always chuckle inside thinking of this movie.

I do the exact same thing.

as everyone is 'singing', in my head Im only thinking about the half-assed effort of everyone from the movie.

Just didn't like this one

I agree with you and I'm literally a fan of every other Tarantino flick ever made. Reservoir Dogs was so meh, It took place in a single ****ing room for a good chunk of the movie.

My company has "compensation consultants" coming in soon. When I heard the news, my first thought was if they would both be named Bob.

They should do another one called WAH (work at home).

This movie was instrumental in my move from office employee to welder. I'm currently back in the office(promoted from welder), and we have two senior mngrs, affectionately known as " the Jeffs"

It's still fun to say "I gotta meeting with the Jeffs"

I give a ton of credit to Ron Livingstone and how he played the character. He just nailed it.

Also John C Reilly and Stephen Root were the two best supporting actors of the film by a long shot IMHO.

I still think the gutting of the fish in the cubicle was one of the highlights of the film for me.....ROFL

Gary Cole nailed it as well.

Office Space is a classic. Being raised in the IT world, we quote that movie all the time.

He probably should have passed on that one, didn't care for it.

That movie was hilarious when I was in my early twenties and wasn't stuck in a shitty office job. Now that I'm 37 and am stuck shitty office job that I hate it's pretty depressing to watch. To sum up, funny when it's someone else, not so funny when it's happening to you.

you know, comedies only work once for me
I know the joke unless it is decades later not funny

that being said
this is one of the best documentaries ever

Dayze 12-03-2014 10:01 AM
