Well, welcome home, Kubiak.
Will be interesting to see who fills out the OC/DC positions. I'm sure Manning returns, they need to decide if Frankenstein is the serious #2 ... if not, go get a better #2 guy. Resign DT, let Julius and Welker walk... resign Pot Roast, Franklin and a few other core guys. |
Like I've said for over a month. The beginning of the end has begun.

Has Kubiak been a HC before? Or is this just fraternal?

Chiefs and zeroes fan assured me this would never happen.

If Elway thinks he can re-create an offense to protect Manning the same way Kubiak and Shanahan created an offense to help Elway win two Super Bowls at the end of his career… he is overlooking several key differences: 1) Alex Gibbs zone blocking scheme is not in place. 2) Terrell Davis is not walking through that door. 3) Manning is far more washed up than Elway was. Houston imploded in Kubiak's final season there and he basically had a nervous breakdown. He will be under intense pressure to deliver a Super Bowl in what will likely be Manning's final season next year… and he doesn't have a good track record of handling adversity or pressure well as a HC. |
