He must have not wanted them very badly.

See Tennessee last year. Several deep throws and 3 ints.

He had 4 passes over 20 yards and 2 over 25. And 3 interceptions. All of the interceptions were on deep throws 3 deep incompletes as well. That's 10 deep passes in one game. That never happened again.

Thx!

Pretty much, yes. This has been said for quite a long time now.

Again, we are not talking about 5,000 yard, 40+ TD passing seasons. That crap depends on scheme, and is frankly for only the fantasy football geeks of the world.

If the OL and WR groups show to be above the bottom 10, then it will become clear whether Alex is a top tier QB. He is already in the 2nd tier in most reasonable minds while having bottom tier OL and WR groups.. a large 2nd tier of QBs that people have wildly ranked in their own order.

I am still waiting for people to list some QBs that have excelled while having bottom 5-10 WR and OL groups. Has anyone ever done so? If so... let's see them. If not? then why not? because they do not exist? Be honest.

wr's suck, but rational talk regarding alex is futile lol. Alex has his deep threat, he better at least attempt it this year.

Read the post again. Since 2011, bub.

Alex sucked in SF and sucks in KC.

stonedstooge 06-07-2015 08:22 PM

I just hope he's not hard to watch. That would be an improvement anyways

You never watched him throw to Vernon in sf. You wouldn't know.

Who gives a **** if it happens?

Ill take ST winning all playoff games as long as they win!

jspchief 06-07-2015 08:38 PM

Didn't Smith come out in week 1 last year throwing deep?

Itself like Reid spent all offseason focused on stretching the field, then saw it in action and said "**** that". Smith isn't a deep passer physically, and more importantly, mentally.

The defense of this shitbag at CP? In the face of a WR corps and O-line that any legit QB should be able to make the donuts with?

Yes, please.

BossChief 06-07-2015 08:55 PM

They have been working on his fundamentals in otas. Crazy for a vet like him, but it seems they are doing everything they can to get him to throw deep more with effectiveness.
