It took SD all of 2 quarters to solve Daniels last season. His game stats were so Reid / Smith like it wasn't even funny. But he did play throw the ball well against Walmart greeters and car washers in preseason, So there's that.

IMO, The wild card here is lowered expectations.

How will this squad respond to the realization that they're the dregs of the league and a national punchline?

Could fall apart, could go HAM.

Could very well happen. Our biggest allie and asset in this is the national media. The quicker they start hammering on Reid the faster the tractor of embarrassment picks up.. Fans have little pull compared to the media.

Don't forget he was throwing the ball TO walmart greeters and car washers.
He can find the open man a lot better than Alex Smith can.

That said, Andy Reid is still a shit playcaller, and John Dorsey is a giant fail for extending Alex Smith's contract and drafting shitty players.

Agree. When he tossed a shot ton of dump offs and a few - yard pass plays against SD last season. I knew then he could comfortably run Reid offense.

Putting him in ends Reid's tenure here. Giving Smith all that money to only bench him for some JAG proves the point many have been saying about Reid. He isn't a QB guru and he failed this franchise with his handpicked QB...

Quicker chase is in, the quicker Reid is fired.
