I'm not sure why people on Chiefsplanet think they're "good".

Because they have a solid OL, upcoming WR some decent pieces in the front 7 and most importantly the best young upcoming QB in the NFL, which is absolutely vital.

They still have some big holes which is why we can compete with them right now, but if they keep doing what they're doing, then they will be a consistent playoff contender for years.

LoneWolf 11-10-2015 11:58 PM

What is it about the Raiders that has everybody in this thread gushing over them. They have beat exactly 0 good teams. The only team they have beat that would be considered in the vicinity of good is the Jets and that was the game Fitzpatrick left the game and Geno the dipshit came in to wreck the day.

Looking at the Raiders schedule, they have at least 4 guaranteed losses and a good possibility at 5-6. They are going to lose to Minnesota, Green Bay, Denver, and KC (once). They could lose to the Chargers if San Diego is healthy by Christmas. If the Raiders finish above 8-8, I'll shit in a Raiders hat and burn it in a bonfire.

thats a poor argument considering all but 5 teams are bad to begin with.
They are as good as they need to be in the environment they are in.

But I pick Vikings this week too

007 11-11-2015 06:44 AM

We are not making the playoffs.

rinse and repeat that as much as you need to.

BWillie 11-11-2015 07:54 AM

In looking at the schedules of the AFC teams in the running for the playoffs, the Chiefs have a chance. Maybe not a good one, but a chance. As long as Oakland doesn't rise up as a power and we can trust victories over San Diego (I'm not sure we can) I can see them making it. They could make it regardless of if they beat Denver this week. I expect them to make the playoffs if they win this week, even though that is a daunting task.

After going through the schedules of AFC teams, it would not surprise me if everything shook out like this:

New England 16-0
Cincinnati 14-2
Indy 8-8
Denver 13-3
---------
WILDCARD
NY Jets 11-5
KC 9-7 (Would have tie breaker in head to head with Pittsburgh)
Pitt 9-7
Buffalo 8-8
Oakland 7-9
Houston 7-9

As it turns out, The Vikings may actually be good. Still, the Bears came could come back to bite us. This team would be in infinitely better shape at 4-4 than 3-5 if they just win that flippin game.

Actually, this might be true & could easily become a reality. It seems most likely this team goes 8-8 at this point. Which is probably 1 game out of the playoffs...

They're a good team that's why- They're 4-4 but they are also a nut hair away from being a 6-2 team. They been putting up like 35+ points the last 3 weeks in a row. Their RB fumbled the ball like 3 times on sunday and fumbled a kickoff return giving the Steelers 21 easy points and I believe the fumbled 2 times in that Bronco game and lost by 6 points

Teams don't choose their schedule. That's what I was told a few years ago...

So the Chiefs should be 6-2 then too by that "logic"

RunKC 11-11-2015 11:19 AM

Put Derek Carr on this team and we are 5-3 right now. Maybe 6-2.

You're wrong. Dump-it Derek sucks. Hootie & Rudy (and possibly Tootie) told me so.
