Surprised Chudisinski isn't getting some look. He was screwed over in Cleveland by the Browns being well the Browns.

Childress will step in if Pederson ever does leave, besides its the master plan when Bray becomes the QBOTF in 2 years.

Why no to chilly? On staff already with head coach playoff credentials...

FloridaMan88 01-03-2016 12:36 PM

If Pederson leaves, and assuming Reid will only look at guys he is familiar with to replace him, I'd like to see Marty Mornhinweg brought in and given full play calling control.

It is possible that Childress doesn't want another HC job.

He commented on it earlier in the season. Then a few weeks later we started occasionally seeing what appeared to be a completely different offensive mindset. Then it would go back to the maddening horizontal/negative passing game.

I'd like to pretend Pederson was behind the vertical passing. I'd like to pretend Reid recognized the effect it had and will learn from it. But the truth is, I have no idea. Different opponents, oline injuries, Reid's history, and Smith's groundhog testicles all could be a factor in this hair-pulling offense.

I just don't have enough information to give a shit if Pederson is here or not.

Honestly, You nailed it here. Exactly my opinion.

Yes it is. And yes it is.

No offensive skill players. Bottom 5 defense. That team has been turned into a shithole in record time.

Exactly, they can just promote him to OC in name only.

So?

One year shouldn't excuse the stellar career he's had as a special teams coordinator to this date, and not just with the Chiefs.

Never know if you will be looked at as HC potential in the future. Have to take the opportunity that is there. He will get paid a lot more, and if it doesn't work out he could always go back to a coordinator position.

yep

In any career you never snub your nose at a promotion it may never come around again.

Correlation does not equal causation

Coordinators who become head coaches tend to come from good teams. Good teams tend to play in the playoffs. Only one team can win the Super Bowl, which means the teams currently employing the other coordinators can appear to not fare well.

I seriously doubt if the Chiefs go one and done it was because Doug Pederson was too busy dreaming about masturbating in his new head coach's office in Philly.

Yeah. What bigger admission of ****ing up than going after your last coaches coordinator days after firing the guy you replaced him with. If I were a Philly fan, I'd be livid.
