They're thinking that they need a new face of the franchise that just moved to L.A. They just grabbed all the headlines a day after Kobe's last game. This is about marketing. No way this trade goes down if they're still in St. Louis.

Yep NFL will do all it takes to see that LA doesn't fail. Titens owner surely gets a big kickback. Please oh please football gods make rams picks busts or worse. Make sure their stadium is a ghost town on Sundays like its got Fukushima nuke waist buried under it. Seems its not to much to ask.

Damn...Titans have #15 and THREE 2nd round picks and two 3rds this year....and two 1st rounders next year.

This will make you a contender quickly...

Rams are ****ing stupid...but ARE a QB away from being a really good team.

I'm still disinterested in the NFL right now.

But, come September, I'll probably end up watching their games whether I want to or not because I am but a lemming to the NFL cartel.

Hopefully the Chiefs take back over the STL market

Are the Rams really just a qb away though? Seems like a great deal for Tennessee and an unknown for the Rams until it plays out.

They have to be confident the qb hits, because this will crater that roster

I don't know. Last season I would have said yes. But losing McLeod and Jenkins makes me think otherwise in 2016.

Jesus. Herschel Walker-ian trade here.

I legitimately didn't think anyone in this draft is worth that kind of haul. No pressure on whoever the pick ends up being, or anything. Just make the Hall of Fame or forever be labeled a failure.

Marcellus 04-14-2016 08:52 AM

Hail Mary from Fisher and company. This is their last shot to get something going.

They better pick the right QB or else it's going to be another 5 years of suck.

Jerm 04-14-2016 08:53 AM

No player in this draft is worth that, insanity...

I got good money saying Fisher had jack and shit to do with making this trade happen. Kroenke is desperate to make a splash in his new home and doesn't give any ****s what anyone thinks of this.

O.city 04-14-2016 08:55 AM

I think Saul has it right. Move to la, need to drum up excitement

RealSNR 04-14-2016 08:57 AM

Since when did Kevin Costner become GM of the Rams?

It feels like the current idiots trying to buy themselves several more years with a rookie QB or whatever, but you'd think the owner would have had to sign off on this.

Maybe the soulless miser just wants to sell more PSLs at the new stadium without regard for the long term effects of mortgaging all those picks
