They can go 3-1 without him, maybe 4-0, depending on whether or not Le'Veon Bell is available and the Steelers have a passing game with out Bryant.

I still think, at worst, it'll be after the by week when Houston comes back, which is fine.

Hali/Ford and our DL can hold it down for a few weeks. This isn't a one handed/hobbled Tamba in Dec/Jan, and I fully expect Ford to be improved from where he was last year.

I thought Houston's recovery was 6-12 months. That is more like November or December.

It has been 5 months, and the timetable starts at 6 months. Are you ****ing reeruned?

A thousand pardons.

Dinny

No pardon necessary. It just takes a little bit of proactive measures to keep megathreads from being abject cluster****s.

I am just saying what was put out there. 6 months is the minimum you asshole. I doubt he is ready to just cut loose right at the minimum time frame.

You are such a dick and don't use the word reeruned. You have no idea how many people have family members on here with those problems.

March is starting to hit Scanlon levels of hype. Let's see if he lives up to it.

I fully expect him to make a big leap this year, he will be starting opposite Maclin by week 8 IMO

Yeah but the dirty secret is he hasn't looked any better in minicamp at getting separation or making catches.

By that I mean, if Conley doesn't improve, you start to look elsewhere or give somebody like Robinson a shot. That doesn't mean you just give up on him though. Year 3 is "make or break" time IMO.

Year 3 is when good receivers blow up. However if Conley doesn't show improvement the "break" I was referring to is any thought of him being the wide receiver opposite Maclin. They will look elsewhere. Guys don't usually have two crappy years then blow up in the third. If he doesn't do better than 200 yards and 1 touchdown we don't have time to wait around for him to turn into something.

It would be pretty disappointing.

Wait, did I miss something somewhere that says he won't be ready for camp?

The difference is that the hype is coming from the front office instead of the fans.

Reid said Houston will be at camp but not participate.

He'll be rehabbing the entire time.

can't say I blame him. Not much upside to the chance of injury for a veteran IMHO.

At this point, the safe bet would be Houston returning Week 5 against the Raiders after the Bye week.

If he's not ready then, his season is probably up in the air.
