Chiefs bounce back with double-digit win. In Arrowhead. In the bag. Steelers will be tough the week after that, though. 2-2 isn't the greatest start, but it will be good enough, since the schedule improves dramatically after the bye.

Not sure I'd call Hali a 'shell of himself', but that's just me

a win over NY and Pittsburgh would put us on a great path to a bye... easier said than done obviously

He is just looking at one part of the field because he gets nervous. |
Our defense looked much better against the run....so that doesn't worry me very much with Forte. And our CBs should have an easier day with Enunwa and Decker (if Marshall is out). Both of those guys aren't blazing fast....should Gaines and Peters should be able to keep with them at all times.
Hopefully Ehinger and LDT are back because we'll need help against the Jets defensive line. |

Do you even bother to watch the game sober? You may want to try it; perhaps your posts would have more credibility. |

It amazes me how one single game, in September no less, can create such a frenzy amongst a fan base. It's not even just us, but pretty much any team. Fortunately the team and staff would not look at it this way, but still.
We played like ass offensively, sure. But is the sky really falling down? We're 1-1. We didn't lose to the Browns. We lost to a Houston team that is much better than the playoff version of themselves last season, and really we could have very easily won the damn thing in spite of our sloppy play. Like I get that there are issues there to be fixed but I don't see the need for panic whatsoever. There's big expectations and rightfully so, but has any Super Bowl team in the modern era ever looked perfect week in and week out? The league is set up to be too competitive nowadays for that. I still expect this team to get to 4-2 after the bye one way or another and by the time Justin Houston returns, they should be ready to hit stride for the long run. |
